Title: Galois actions on Weierstrass points of X_0(p)
Abstract: Weierstrass points are special geometrically-defined points on any Riemann surface (equivalently, algebraic curve) of genus 2 or higher. On the modular curves X_0(N) (and others) their j-invariants turn out to be algebraic numbers. I'll describe some attempts at trying to understand the fields generated by these j-invariants. This is work in progress.
