Title: Adelic equidistribution theorems for dynamical systems
Abstract: I will discuss adelic versions of some equidistribution theorems for points of small height, such as the results of Bilu and Szpiro-Ullmo-Zhang in arithmetic geometry, and the results of Brolin, Lyubich, and Freire-Lopes-Mane in complex dynamics. In order to formulate the results, I will spend some time discussing Berkovich's theory of analytic spaces. This is joint work with Robert Rumely.
