Registration

The registration/application form is now active. All participants are asked to register.

Travel

College Station Easterwood Airport (airport code CLL) is served by Continental Airlines and American Airlines.

Airports in Houston (95 miles away), in particular George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston (airport code IAH), may provide a good alternative. There is a shuttle service from IAH to College Station.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (airport code AUS, 105 miles away) may also provide a good alternative. However, there is no shuttle service to College Station.

Accomodation

Here is a list of hotels with approximate walking distances to Rudder Rudder Tower Conference Center (the site of the Conference). The distances are in minutes, at a relaxed walking pace. We have reserved blocks of rooms with negotiated prices. To obtain the listed price please try to reserve a room between August 1 and October 15. As usual, the rooms are reserved on a first come first serve basis, so early booking is recommended. Mention the Math Department to obtain the listed price. The participants for which the Organizer covers the accomodation expenses should not make their own reservations. The reservation and billing procedures for such participants will be completed directly by the Organizer. Graduate students for which the Organizer provides accomodation will be placed two per room in Super 8 (please indicate roomate preferences, if any, in your application).

Participant Support

Partial accomodation/travel support for participants will be provided. The available funds are targeted at researchers at early stages of their carreers and graduate students. Members of underrepresented groups (with respect to gender, race, age, academic position, etc.) are especially encouraged to apply. The facilities will be wheel-chair accessible.

Participants that would like to apply for support (through the registration page) should do so by August 31, 2005. Final decisions will be made on or about September 15, but early decisions are possible and early application is strongly encouraged.

An additional source of support is Institute for Mathematics and its Application (IMA). Potential participants from members of the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications may use IMA/PI funds to support their travel to this conference.
