Spectra of graph
operators
Peter Kuchment of Texas A&M
University
Relating spectra of graph operators (both in discrete and quantum
versions) to the geometry of the graph is a hard task. However, even
some "simple" basic questions do not seem to be settled down yet for the
case of infinite graphs. The talk purposes to address some of those
questions. I hope to touch upon problems of self-adjointness, growth of
generalized eigenfunctions, Shnoll's type theorems, spectral gaps, and
point spectrum.
