When first loaded, after pressing the Calculate button, this applet shows (in red) the growth of $200.00, invested at 5.0% interest, compounded quarterly for 15 years. It also shows the amount (in green) of simple interest.

By selecting an item (next to the Calculate button), you can solve for "Final Value", "Interest", "Number of Payments", "Present Value", and "Payment".

Note: You can grab the initial amount, and change it by dragging it with the mouse. If it is less than 10% of the maximum amount, it decreases the scale. If it is more than 80% of the height, it increases the scale.

If the Payment is set to 0.00, then simple interest is shown by a green line.
