Math and Science Summer Camps
at
Texas A&M University
July 21 through August 1
Sorry, the Camp has been Cancelled
This summer, 2003, during the last two weeks of July the Mathematics Department and College of Science at Texas A&M University are offering 6 two week courses for advanced high school students. We have courses in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and even one on chess. The courses will meet daily Monday through Friday. Each student will take two of the six courses. We will try to honor requests, but enrollment is limited, so campers should be prepared to not get their first choices.
Campers may commute, classes will start promptly at 8:30 AM. and end by 5:00 PM. Monday through Friday. We have also arranged room and board facilities for those for whom commuting is not an option.
We hope to have some funds available for financial assistance, but at this time campers should expect to have to pick up almost all of the costs associated with the camp, travel, and living expenses.
For additional information and a registration form which can be downloaded click on the appropriate link at the left.
The deadline for applications is April 5, 2003.
The Director of the A&M Math/Science Summer Camp is Dr. Michael Stecher. He will be glad to answer any of your questions, and can be reached at
