Administrative Coordinator -- Alisa Baron
Summary of Duties
The Administrative Coordinator manages the Blocker Administrative Office
and assists the Associate Head for Operations on all aspects of the
teaching operations of the department.
Assists the Associate Head of Operations with:
- Teaching Schedule
- Help Sessions
- Week In Review Sessions
- Update Operations Web Page
- Scholastic Dishonesty Cases
- Grade Appeal Cases
- Student Complaints
- Student Rules and Regulations
- Laptop/LCD Panel Delivery Service
- Make-up Exam Service
- Teaching History Files
- Faculty Workload
- Classroom Utilization
Manages the Blocker Administrative Office:
- Direct supervision of staff assistant and senior secretary
- Direct supervision of two to four student workers
- Coordinate faculty and staff office assignments
- Coordinate services with the Administrative Office in Milner Hall

Education
Required:
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of training and
experience.
Experience
- Required:
- 3-5 years progressive, responsible working experience. Previous supervisory
experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced computing
skills in the use of word processing and spreadsheet packages.
