Peter Kuchment promoted to Distinguished Professor

Dr. Peter Kuchment will be promoted to the rank of Distinguished Professor, effective September 1, 2011. This is an extraordinary honor which is only granted to those who are at the very top in their field. Indeed, there are only about 60 distinguished professors in the entire university.
