Clothing
In most cases, warm weather clothing will be appropriate. Sneakers or hiking shoes might be useful for the weekend excursion. Some students might enjoy wearing a sweater in air-conditioned buildings. An umbrella or other rain gear may be helpful.

Students will be staying in a dormitory on campus.

Personal items

Optional items
Students might like to bring personal items, e.g. a portable musical instrument, camera, board game, playing cards, frisbees. However, no skateboards, video games, or televisions are permitted.

Supervision
Four counselors (undergraduate students) will live in the dorm with the students. Counselors and faculty will be present at all of the program's activities. However, students will enjoy significant freedom during the rest of the day, so a sufficient level of maturity on their part is assumed. A form releasing SMaRT camp and Texas A&M from any liability will need to be signed by the parents.

Curfew
A curfew will be imposed on students from 10pm till 6am.
