About Math Awareness Month
Mathematics Awareness Month is sponsored each year by the American Mathematical Society, the American Statistical Association, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics to recognize the importance of mathematics. In the year 2008 the theme of the Awareness Month is Math and Voting.
