Description

This seminar investigated complex dynamics, chaos, fractals, and the Mandelbrot set. The goal was to introduce students to this field of active research and to engage them in projects of their own.

Impact

Larry Holifield has enrolled in graduate school in mathematics at Texas A&M, and Scott Armstrong will enroll at UC Berkeley, Fall 2002.
