Title:Finite input/output games, strategies, correlations, and related operator algebras.
Abstract:Over the next two lectures, I will present the basic notions around two player finite input/output games, strategies (deterministic, probabilistic, winning etc...), and the various correlation matrices that arise. We will then focus on the class of synchronous games and the relation between perfect strategies and the existence of certain tracial states on a universal associated to the game. We will follow section 9.4 thru Chapter 10 in the following notes: http://www.math.uwaterloo.ca/~vpaulsen/EntanglementAndNonlocality_LectureNotes_7.pdf

Title:Non-closure of a set of quantum correlations.
Abstract:Using elementary techniques, we show that the convex set C_q(5,2) of quantum correlations with 5 inputs and 2 outputs is not closed. (Joint work with Vern Paulsen and Jitendra Prakash).
