### Teaching

In Fall 2017 I am teaching Math 151. Office hours are Tuesday 12:00-3:00, Wednesday 12:00-1:30.

### Travel

Tufts University Algebra, Geometry, and Number Theory Seminar, September 21, 2017.

University of Wisconsin Number Theory Seminar, October 19, 2017.

Canadian Mathematical Society Winter Meeting in Waterloo, invited speaker at special session in Arithmetic Dynamics, December 10-11, 2017.

Joint Math Meetings 2018 in San Diego, invited speaker at special session in Arithmetic Dynamics, January 10-13, 2018.

AMS Spring Eastern Sectional Meeting at Northeastern University, invited speaker at special session in Arithmetic Dynamics, April 21-22, 2018.

### Research

My research interests are mainly in number theory and algebraic geometry, particularly in arithmetic dynamics. I study arithmetic and algebraic properties of dynamical systems, such as the arboreal Galois representations attached to preimage fields of rational maps and the cycle structure of polynomials in finite fields. I am also very interested in the connections between automata theory and algebra.
