How final grades will be determined
Formula for calculating grades:
- Let T be the average of the three common exams.
- Let Q be the average of the quizzes (lowest one dropped).
- Let H be the webassign average (lowest three dropped).
- Let M be the matlab average.
- Let F be the final exam grade.
- Then your final grade in the class is computed by the following formula:
T(0.5)+Q(0.10)+H(0.08)+M(0.07)+F(.25)
Posting grades on ecampus
- I will post all grades (besides the final) on ecampus as soon as I get the grades from the TA's.
- I will post the final exam grade on ecampus no later than Monday, December 21.
Once grades are posted, I do not change grades for any reason unless there was an error in the calculation of the grade.
