When I moved to Austin, I got myself a digital camera, making it simpler to allow others to trace my ways in this new country. So this is the place for the friends at home to see where I have been...

Colorado in winter (December 2004)

Between Christmas and New Year's eve, two friends and I broke loose of our women and took a 5-day car trip to Colorado and back. Lots of driving, lots of good times too.

First, snowy mountains somehow never fail to impress. Walking over icy surfaces of course requires extraordinary measures to stabilize the gait, even if among two guys (Jeff and me; the other guy in the pictures of course is my good friend Darren):
