Information on Banff:

The workshop will take place at the Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery (BIRS) in Banff (Alberta, Canada). The town is in the Banff National Park which is famous for its beauty and for skiing, see the town website. It is 141 km (88 miles) from Calgary International Airport (code YYC):

The workshop will take place in the peak skiing season and the nearest slopes are just a few miles away.

All participants will be accommodated in the BIRS guest house. Accommodation will be paid for by the BIRS, however all participants (and organizers) must pay for their own travel to/from Banff.
