The following are notes that I made while reading <A HREF="http://www.math.tamu.edu/~cirving/LinearPrecision.pdf" ><font color=blue>Linear Precision for Parametric Patches</font></A> by Luis Garcia-Puente and Frank Sottile.  They are basically just a restatement of what is in the paper with simple examples inserted.  They are by no means a final draft and I will be editing and adding to them often.
