DESCRIPTION:
Credit 3.
(Credit will not be given for more than one of MATH 221, 251 and 253.)
Vector algebra, calculus of functions of several variables,
partial derivatives, directional derivatives, gradient, multiple integration,
line and surface integrals, Stokes' theorems.
PREREQUISITE:
MATH 152 or equivalent.
HOMEWORKS:
There will be weekly homework assignments.

GRADING:
Two midterms (25% MT1 and 25% MT2, or 17% MT1 and 33% MT2, whichever is greater), final (30%), homework (20%).
A: 90 points or greater; B: 80 or greater; C: 70 or greater;
D: 60 or greater.
MAKE-UP POLICY:
Consistent with University Student Rules,
students are required to notify an instructor
by the end of the next working day after missing an exam.
Otherwise, they forfeit their rights to a make-up.
Make-ups for missed exams will only be
allowed for a university approved excuse in writing.
Late homeworks are not accepted.
