Brief description: Rank One Perturbations and Singular Integral Operators
For a rank one perturbation of a self-adjoint operator a formula for its spectral representation is obtained. This represenation is given by a singular integral operator of special form. We will discuss a connection with two weight estimates for the Hilbert transform. As an application, we obtain some results about the absence of the singular spectrum for the perturbed operator.
