My name is Constanze Liaw, and I am starting as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the math department at Texas A&M University. I received my Ph.D. in May 2009 from Brown University under Prof. Sergei Treil. I completed my undergraduate studies at the Universität Stuttgart under Prof. TeknD Timo Weidl.

My mathematical interests revolve around analysis. In particular, I study singular integral operators, harmonic analysis, spectral theory of self-adjoint operators and mathematical physics. I am currently researching the probabilistic dynamical properties of self-adjoint operators with certain random perturbations, a generaliation of the theory of Schrödinger operators with random potential. My post-doc advisor is Prof. Alexei Poltoratski.
