Limited blocks of rooms have been reserved at the La Quinta Inn-College Station for the period April 8--10 (Thursday --Saturday). Persons planning to stay in a hotel room should contact the hotel directly at 979-696-7777. The room rate is $60.00/night+tax. To secure this rate, please make reservation before March 25, and mention that you are with the CombinaTexas conference. The La Quinta is located at 607 Texas Avenue South, at the corner of Texas Avenue and Live Oak Street, just north of the Texas A&M University Golf Course. From the south (Houston area), travelers need to take the Business 6/Texas A&M University Exit off of State Highway 6, heading north, into College Station. Business 6 becomes Texas Avenue South at the College Station city limits. The La Quinta is on the east side of Texas Avenue, across the street from the A&M campus. The La Quinta is conveniently located within walking distance of the conference and restaurants. They will also provide shuttle service to the airport and the conference. There are high-speed internet connections in each guestroom.
