PROBLEM: What is the area, in the plane perpendicular to the line of sight and at distance one from the origin, of the region in-line with the square in the plane y=2 with x=3+-1/4,z=5+-1/4? That is, redo this problem with the new numbers. Do it three ways: A single cross-product, two cross products to get the exact areas of two triangles and add, and using the slant, and 1/r^2, effects to approximate the answer. Then find the ratios of ANSWER3/ANSWER2 and ANSWER1/ANSWER2. ANSWER2 should be the exact answer, but all three answers should be very close. This one is due THURSDAY MAY 15. HARSH, TO HAVE THAT CRUEL DAY BE A DEADLINE, BUT HEY, IF WE TAXPAYERS HAVE TO MEET THAT DEADLINE OR ELSE, THEN SO DO YOU-ALL. BESIDES, THIS ONE IS JUST FOR ONE POINT.
