Sunday, May 28th: Every student must make travel plans to be in Charles de Gaulles Airport (CDG) in Paris on Sunday, May 28th by 6p.m. (Paris time). You must be at the airport Charles-de-Gaulle 2-TGV train station by 6p.m. the latest (or a soon as you can if your flight is delayed). The train station is located in Terminal 2 and I will meet the group in the 2nd floor waiting room at 6 p.m. We will then take the TGV (French bullet train) at 19:58 from Charles de Gaulles airport train station to Besançon for an approximate arrival around 11pm. Finally, a 10-minute tram ride will take us to the hotel Zénitude La City in Besançon.

Monday, May 29th: I will meet you at the hotel at 9:30 a.m. for a quick city tour and to get the city public transportation passes. We will then head to the university where I'll give you a campus orientation. There will be a welcome reception in your honor at 2 p.m. (salle des actes)).

Tuesday; May 30th: After lunch I will take you to the CLA (building adjacent to the hotel) for your first French cultural activity.

Monday; June 5th: In the morning we will take a boat tour on the boat Le Battant.

Saturday, June 10th: Day trip to the vicinity of Besançon.
9 a.m. departure from the hotel
10 a.m. musée Courbet in Ornans
noon, lunch in Poligny
2 p.m. La Maison du Comté in Poligny
5 p.m. chocolaterie Hirsinger in Arbois
8 p.m. Back to the hotel in Besançon

Monday; June 19th: Group lunch at "Le Pays" rue Megevand in Besançon.

Friday, June 23rd: Transfer to Paris
5:15 a.m. meeting in the hotel lobby
6:38 a.m. we will take the bullet train no 6745 direct to Paris Gare de Lyon for an estimated arrival at 9:07 a.m.
10:30 a.m. Luguage Drop off at the hotel Ibis Avenue d'Italie

12:30 p.m. Group lunch at "L'Inévitable" next to Jussieu.
2:00 p.m. Guided tour in English by Prof. Gilles Godefroy of 5th and 6th arrondissements where most of the French iconic education institutions are located (Sorbonne, Institut Henri Poincaré, Jussieu, Lycée Louis Le Grand, Lycée Henri IV, École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm...). End of the tour at Notre-Dame.
4:00 p.m. Check in at the hotel Ibis Avenue d'Italie

Saturday, June 24th:
10:00 a.m. Walk in the park "Les Buttes Chaumont" in the 19th arrondisement.
11:30 a.m. Group lunch at the celebrated restaurant ``Chez Gladines'' in the Buttes aux Cailles neighbourhood.
Free afternoon
