Monday, May 28th: Every student must make travel plans to be in Charles de Gaulles Airport (CDG), Terminal 2A, in Paris on Tuesday, May 29th by 11am (Paris time). A private bus will take to the hotel Zénitude La City in Besançon. It will be a 4h bus-ride

Wednesday, May 30th: I will meet you at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and we will then head to the university. There will be a welcome reception in your honor at 10 a.m. (salle des actes)).
After lunch I will take you to the CLA (building adjacent to the hotel) for your first French cultural activity.

Saturday, June 2: Day trip to the vicinity of Besançon.
9 a.m. departure from the hotel
10 a.m. musée Courbet in Ornans
noon, lunch in Poligny
2 p.m. La Maison du Comté in Poligny
5 p.m. chocolaterie Hirsinger in Arbois
8 p.m. Back to the hotel in Besançon

Saturday; June 9: (If weather permits) In the morning we will take a boat tour on the boat Le Battant.

Wednesday; June 13: Group lunch at "Le Pays" rue Megevand in Besançon.

Friday, June 22: Transfer to Paris
5:20 a.m. meeting in the hotel lobby
6:39 a.m. we will take the bullet train no 6745 direct to Paris Gare de Lyon for an estimated arrival at 9:05 a.m.
10:30 a.m. Luguage Drop off at the hotel Ibis 177 rue de Tolbiac

11:30 a.m.: View from the 24th floor of the Tour Zamansky in Jussieu.
noon Group lunch at "L'epsilon" close to Jussieu.
2:00 p.m. Guided tour in English by Prof. Gilles Godefroy of 5th and 6th arrondissements where most of the French iconic education institutions are located (Sorbonne, Institut Henri Poincaré, Jussieu, Lycée Louis Le Grand, Lycée Henri IV, École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm...). End of the tour at Notre-Dame.
4:00 p.m. Check in at the hotel Ibis 177 rue de Tolbiac
