Catalog Description: Ordinary differential equations, solutions in series, 
solutionsusing Laplace transforms, systems of differential equations. 
Prerequisites: MATH 251 or equivalent; knowledge of computer algebra system. 

Grading Policy: 3 Exams 100 points each = 300 points
                            homeworks   = 100 points
                            Final exam  = 200 points

Cutoff Points: 600>A>540>B>480>C>420>D>360>F (Curves are permitted if necessary) 

*The Final Exam Schedule: May 7, Monday 3:30-5:30pm
*Students who are satisfied with the average of their 3 exams may skip the final.

Class Attendence will be checked, recorded and reflected in the final grade.

MAKE-UP POLICY: Make-ups for missed exams will only be allowed for a university 
approved excuse in writing. Wherever possible, students should inform the 
instructor before an exam is missed. Consistent with University Student Rules, 
students are required to notify an instructor by the end of the next working 
day after missing an exam. Otherwise, they forfeit their rights to a make-up.

SCHOLASTIC DISHONESTY: Copying work done by others, either in-class or out of 
class, is an act of scholastic dishonesty and will be prosecuted to the full 
extent allowed by University policy. Collaboration on assignments, either 
in-class or out-of-class, is forbidden unless permission to do so is granted by
