Description

The concentration week in Multivariable Operator Theory will form one of the activities in the 2008 installment of the Workshop in Analysis and Probability which takes place every summer at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. This concentration week in Multivariable Operator Theory include all aspects of the theory including one-variable, so long as the questions and techniques are drawn mainly from the multivariable context. Although C*-methods and techniques are not excluded, they are not viewed as ends unto themselves but for application. This description should leave a lot of latitude as to the topics discussed.
