Text: "An Introduction to Analysis", 3rd edition, by William R. Wade, Prentice-Hall

Catalog Description: Axioms of the real number system; point set theory of R; compactness, completeness; continuity and uniform continuity; sequences, series, theory of Riemann integration.

Course Content: The first half of the course will cover most of chapters 1-4, and the second half will cover the remainder of 4 and chapters 5 and part of 6.

Prerequisites: Math 220; 221

MAKE-UP POLICY: Make-ups for missed quizzes and exams will only be allowed for a university approved excuse in writing. Wherever possible, students should inform the instructor before an exam or quiz is missed. Consistent with University Student Rules , students are required to notify an instructor by the end of the next working day after missing an exam or quiz. Otherwise, they forfeit their rights to a make-up.
