Dynamics, perforation, and classification of nuclear C*-algebras
I will begin by surveying the classification program for simple nuclear C*-algebras and then show how the perforative behaviour that is crucial to counterexamples of Villadsen and Toms can be recast in a dynamical framework by means of crossed products of minimal homeomorphisms.
