- Before you work with Maple, please make sure you have read the documents
"Generic First Week Maple Lab," "Calclab Open Hours," and "Maple in Texas
A&M Mathematics Courses" at http://calclab.math.tamu.edu. These texts will
provide all information you need about access to Maple, obtaining help, and
many other important issues.
- Solve exercises ## 2, 4, 6, 8, 14, 16 for Section 1.1 (p. 5-6).
- Solve exercises ## 2a, 6, 10, 20a, 22a, 24, 26, for Section 1.2 (p. 14-15).
After
solving by hand, verify your solution to the exercises ##2a, 6, and 10 using
Maple. Extra credit: # 18
- Solve exercises ## 2, 6, 8 for Section 1.3 (p. 22-23) by hand and #10 using
Maple. Extra credit: ## 12, 14, 18
- Study isoclines (for the related problems in this assignment).
- Whenever Maple is involved, ONE of the following options should be
used:
- Maple print-out is submitted with your solution (preferred)
- The Maple commands you used are written in your solutions, exactly
the way you typed them, along with the exact answers Maple provided
