• Delete all partitions on both disks using fdisk from a rescue boot off of a linux CD and install Windows
  • Before performing any updates on Windows, use Windows Disk Manager to convert both disks to dynamic disks and mirror the drives
  • Perform Windows update
  • Install programs
  • ssh to mcp0 and use kadmin -q "ank -pw passwd host/name.math.tamu.edu"
  • On Windows machine, put in the windows CD and copy over ksetup.exe from /support/tools onto the computer
  • In command window run ksetup /setdomain MATH.TAMU.EDU, ksetup /addkdc MATH.TAMU.EDU mcp0.math.tamu.edu, ksetup /setmachpassword passwd
  • reboot windows machine
  • create users
  • use ksetup /mapuser name@MATH.TAMU.EDU name to map one user, use ketsup /mapuser * * to map all users
  • Check to make sure ksetup worked by logging in with math name and password on kerberos
  • Convert the windows machine into a terminal server using the "configure your server" tool from the Administrative tools menu
  • Change users into the terminal server group
  • map user drives using net user username /homedir:\\fs1\username individually
