Setup Information
for Electronic Office Hours

Note: "Electronic Office Hours" is experimental. It may take a while to work out all the bugs.
  1. Download NetMeeting (only for Windows 95/98/NT).
  2. If you a video source (e.g. Logitech QuickCam) it will use it automatically.
  3. If you have an audio source, it will use it automatically.
  4. Chat rooms and electronic whiteboard are available for all, e.g. from the Student Computing Center or the dorms.
After you have installed Microsoft NetMeeting, call up my office (165.91.114.227). If I am running a conference, it will ask you for a password (which will be provided that day in class).

Since I must be running Windows NT, office hours will only be during the hours posted on my Math 166 course home page.

Note: Because of the TAMU firewall (security system) you may not be able to use NetMeeting off campus to connect to me. I will set up alternate means (ICQ-CHAT, AOL-Messenger, etc.) and will post instructions at a later time...
