First, download the file iXplorer.zip from the iXplorer download site
Install into a temporary directory, since you will be running a setup installation program anyway ...
Run the setup program
Install it into the default directoy
Start up the program. This is the initial startup screen. Note, there are no hosts defined yet!
Right-click the icon "SSH Hosts" and select "New SSH Host"
Fill in the correct information. I have it opening up public_html by default on the remote machine...
Click on the icon "calclab1", it will prompt you for your password.
Navigate to your file (in this case, "index1.html" in the directory "My Documents") on the local machine. Select the right arrow button on the top menu. This will send the file to the remote machine. You will see some information on the bottom of the window indicating the status of the transfer.
If all is successful, you will see the file on the remote directory. Congratulations!
