• As announced in class, I will have office hours on Thursday, December 4 from 10am to noon. Don't forget that I also hold office hours by appointment.
• Online homework averages have been transferred to the elearning website. If you think your average was incorrectly transferred, please email me ASAP.

There will be a review on Wednesday, December 3 from 10 to noon in Zachary 102. Please print out the practice problems and take them with you if you go to the review. This review is sponsored by LIFE and led by Ms. Austin.

Practice final exams(11/24/08, updated 12/5/08)

Here are two old final exams from the spring for practice. Exam 1 (rough solutions), Exam 2 (rough solutions). The solutions are rough, please let me know of any typos that you find. (Update:Some typos have been fixed as of 12/6/08, 9am.)

Second Midterm Exam information (11/17/08, updated 11/21/08)

• This exam will be in the same room as the previous exam, but is on Tuesday this time.
• The exam will cover sections 4.4 to 6.4. Material from previous sections will be required to complete the exam but the questions will be aimed at the newer material.
• Remember that calculators are not allowed on the midterm.
• Don't forget to look at past Math 151 exams.
• This exam counts for 20% of your grade.
• There will be a review by the help session staff on Sunday, November 23, 7:30-9:30pm in BLOC 102. They have written a set of problems that will be worked on.
• My office hours for Wednesday, November 26 are moved to Tuesday, November 25 from 10:00am to noon.

Help Session Review (10/20/08)

There will be a `help session review' on Wednesday at 7:30 to 9:30 in Blocker 102. They have written a set of problems that will be worked on.

• The midterm will cover through section 3.2. That is, section 3.3 will not be on the exam.

Online Homework Submission bugs(9/17/08)

Some students have been having trouble with retakes on the online homework. If an assignment is not submitted, the system will sometimes hang and not allow a retake until the assignment automatically submits at the end of three hours. This can be avoided by properly submitting the assignment. Otherwise, sometimes restarting your computer will cause the assignment to submit and thus become available again.
