Matlab assignment and quiz averages are now available on eLearning. Online homework averages have also been transferred.

Final Exam Information.(4/27/09)

For the date and time of the final, please see the registrar's final exam schedule.
A general review for Math 152 will be held on May 6. Note that this review is not affiliated with any lecture.
Our final will be mostly or all workout questions with little or no multiple choice.

Information on third exam (4/14/09, updated 4/22/09)

There will be a `night before drill' on Monday, April 27 at 7:15-9:15pm in HELD 200. A sample problem set is available.
Due to the date of the exam, my office hours on Wednesday, April 29 will be replaced by an office hour at 2pm on Tuesday April 28.
The exam will be at 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Tuesday, April 28 in Richardson 106.
The exam will cover through section 11.1. That is, section 11.2 will not be on the exam.

Integral bee (4/14/09, updated 4/22/09)

The integral bee date has been changed to May 1. This is now three days after the third exam.

Score calculator (4/1/09)

(4/2/09) Here's an updated version of the grade calculator with some error checking. (Thanks to Eric Wood for making the changes.)

Here's a quick javascript to calculate final scores from quiz, Matlab and online homework averages and exam scores. Note that it will either calculate final scores given all information, or what final exam score is required to get a given final average if all other information is given. Please let me know if there are any errors.

Math contest with cash prizes (3/26/09)

There will be a contest with cash prizes on March 31, 7:30 to 9:30pm in Milner 317. Sample problems from last year's contest are available.

Second Exam Information(3/24/09, updated 3/26/09)

You will not need to memorize the error bounds from the section on approximate integration, however, you will need to be familiar with and able to use them.
The exam will be at 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday, March 26 in Richardson 106.
The exam will cover up through section 9.6. That is, sequences and series are not on the exam.

First exam information(2/12/09, updated 2/13/09)

There will be a review for Math 152 on Monday, February 16 at 7:15-9:15pm in HELD 200. The problems that will be worked are available.
The exam will be at 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday, February 19 in Richardson 106.
The exam will cover up through section 8.3 (trigonometric substitution). That is, section 8.4 (integration by partial fraction decomposition) will not be on the first exam.

Online Homework due dates(2/2/09)

As announced via email, the due dates for the online homework assignments have been changed and they are now due on Tuesdays. Remember that the scores on the practice assignments are not included in the online homework grade.

Matlab help session information(1/21/09)

The MATLAB help sessions will be 7-10pm Monday through Thursday and 1-10pm on Sunday. The room has not changed, but the number is now Blocker 128.
