Title:The Stern Sequence

Abstract: The Stern sequence was essentially discovered in 1858 and it presents a seemingly inexhaustible supply of interesting, unexpected and frequently rediscovered properties. There are connections with binary representations of the integers, continued fractions, Minkowski's ?-Function and the most comprehensible known enumeration of the the positive rationals, given years before Cantor defined "countable".
