Splitting the time-space errors in fully discrete parabolic approximations.

Abstract: In joint work with Dmitriy Leykekhman, we consider the gradient error at a point in space-time. A bound for the error is given which splits the effects from spatial and time discretizations. Applications are given to a posteriori error estimation via recovered gradients.
