Prerequisite: MATH 152;

Required Text: Linear Algebra with Applications by S.J. Leon, 7th Edition, Prentice Hall, ISBN 0131857851.

Grading System & Tests: Your grade will be based on three in-class tests, homework, attendance, quizzes and a final exam. Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis and will be posted to the homework page:

Late homeworks lose five points per class meeting (unless accompanied by a university approved excuse in writing). The exact dates of tests will be announced later during the semester but can be expected in weeks 4, 8 and 12. The relative weights of the exams, etc., are given below.

Your MINIMUM grade will be A, B, C, or D for averages of 90%, 80%, 70%, or 60%, respectively. The final exam is on May 7, 1:00-3:00 PM.

Make-up Policy: I will give make-ups (or satisfactory equivalents) only in cases authorized under TAMU Regulations. Such cases must be appropriately documented, i.e., a signed statement by a doctor, nurse, etc., on their stationary.
