This is a one-semester introductory course on numerical analysis.
Grading System & Tests: Your grade will be based on three in-class tests, homework and programming assignments, attendance, quizzes and a final exam. Homework and programming assignments will be posted to the homework page:
Late assignments lose five points per class meeting (unless accompanied by a university approved excuse in writing). The exact dates of tests will be announced later during the semester but can be expected in weeks 5 and 10. The relative weights of the exams, etc., are given below.
