Accommodations, Facilities, and Reception.

Accommodations The hotel where we expect to lodge the students and lecturers is Adebayo Akande Hall, which is located just north of the main Campus of the University of Ibadan, about three kilometers from the mathematics department. It is privately-run, but the land belongs to the Univesity of Ibadan. It is not in the town proper. The hotel is relatively new.

The seats.
This lecture hall is light and airy—we could use the natural light. This would work for lectures using a board (note two white boards). It is likely too bright for a lecture with a beamer. Also, it needs repairs to its seats. This should be not hard to get done right.

The other class rooms in the department are darker, and could work for beamer talks, but may be too dark for lectures. Most of them (shown below) have seating for 50, which may be too few seats for the school. There is one which is both of intermediate brightness, and seats more than 50.

The will be rooms in the building under construction that may be adequate.

Agodi Garden. This is a park in the city near to the University that would be a nice venue for the opening reception. In addition to its beautiful grounds, it has a restaurant with a terrace and experience catering events, and some interesting animals.
