Texts/Supplies: There are two texts for this course: Stewart's Calculus, Early Vectors and Gilant's MatLab An Introduction with Applications. You will also need to purchase a packet of 15 QuizzStrips by Scantron, Form No. 815-E. Failure to purchase and give them to Jimmy will result in 25 points being deducted from your recitation/computer lab grade.
Prerequisite: Math 150 (pre-calculus) or its equivalent.

Help sessions for math 151 will be held in Blocker 164 during the following times

There are three common exams scheduled for this course. They will be given on the following dates, with locations to be announced later. No calculators will be allowed on any of the common exams.

The common exams for our class will be held in Heldenfels 111.

• Thursday, 27 September, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 PM. (15% of your grade)
• Thursday, 25 October, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 PM. (15% of your grade)
• Tuesday, 27 November, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 PM. (20% of your grade)
  
  The final exam will be worth 25% of your grade
  
  Matlab assignments (10%), iLrn assignments (5%), and quizzes (10%) will account for the final 25% of your grade.

Important dates:

• November 2, last day to Q-drop,
• Nov 22 and 23, Thanksgiving vacation,
• Final exam, Monday, December 10^th from 8:00 until 10:00 AM.
