The problems listed below are ones that I suggest you look at, and figure out how to work. They are not to be turned in. However, don't be surprised if they turn up on a quiz or exam.

Week 1 (Jan. 17):
Read sections 6.1 through 6.4. Work the following problems.
Page 386: 8, 10, 15 -- 28, 33, 39 -- 64. WORK THESE.
Page 397: 1 -- 3, 5 -- 60 (Do everyone of these), 68, 71, 79, 85 -- 90, 93, 96, 99.

Week 2 (Jan. 24):
Read sections 6.5 and 6.6. Work the following problems.

Page 416: 1 -- 17 (number 17 for sure), 23 -- 58, 61, 70, 75, 77, 85, 86, 92

Read sections 7.1 --7.3. Work the following

Week 4 (Feb. 7):
Read sections 7.4 and 7.5. Exam 1 on ?

Page 451: 2, 7, 11, 12

To review for the exam, I'd suggest looking at the problems on

Week 5(Feb. 14):
Read sections 8.1 through 8.3 and work the following problems.

Week 6(Feb. 21):
Read sections 8.4, 8.8, and 8.9 and work

Week 7(Feb. 28):

Read section 10.4 -- 10.5. Work problems:

Week 13(April 11):
Read sections 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8.
Finish the problems from last week, and
Page 636: 1 -- 5 (odd numbers), 10

Week 14(April 18): Exam 3 ?, and no class on Friday as it's a reading day.
Read section 10.9, then reread the previous sections of chapter 10.
Page 644: 3, 8, 17, 25, 26, 28
Page 646: Review all items mentioned under key topics, and then exercises 1 -- 62
Reread chapter 10, redo as many problems as you can.
