I realize that many of you will not be able to avail yourselves of my office hours. If that is the case, let me know, and we will arrange a time that is suitable for both of us. Do not wait too long if you are having problems. The sooner we get them fixed the happier both of us will be. I also encourage you to make use of e-mail. I check my mail on a regular basis.

We will be covering most of chapters 6 through 11 of Stewart's text, and I will be supplementing some of this material. The following is a weekly schedule of the material in the text that we will be covering. Please note this is tentative, subject to change, and that supplemental material will be added from time to time.

May 9	Final is Wed., May 11, 10:30 -- 12:30 PM.

• Three major exams, 100 points each.
• Quizzes, 100 points
• Final exam, 150 points: The final exam is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, from 10:30 to 12:30 PM.

An A is 90% or 495 points, a B is 80% or 440 points, etc.
