Text: No text is required. I have a copy of a linear algbra text on-line, which is available to you free of charge.

Calculator: Some form of technology is required. This may be a graphing calculator, HP48's, HP49's or TI89's are more than sufficient. Maple, Mathematica, or Mattlab are also acceptable. I suggest that you have something which can be used during an in-class exam. If you have a laptop, that too is acceptable. Your tool of choice must be able to handle matrix row and column operations, and be able to compute eigenvalues.

Prerequisite: Math 152 or equivalent.

We will have three exams worth 100 points each, quizzes worth 100 points. Work turned in late will not be accepted. Your grade for the course will be determined as usual, an A is 90%, a B 80%, etc. Thus, to get an A you will need to accumulate at least 360 points.

At a minimum we will cover the following material.

The following is a tentative weekly schedule of what we will cover this semester. Additional material will be included, and some of the material below may not be covered. Dates of exams are approximate.
