Text: Functions of Several Variables 2nd edition,
by Wendell Fleming
Prerequisite: Math 409 or its equivalent
We will cover most of chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and as much of 6, 7, and 8 as possible.
There will be two exams (100 points each), a final exam (150 points), and homework/quizes
(100 points) for a total of 450 points. Semester grades will be decided in the
usual fashion. That is, an A is 90% or better, a B is 80% or better, etc.
The final exam is scheduled for Tuesday, December 14 at 10:30 AM.
