Construction

NOTE:  These instructions will make one manipulative.

  1. Draw a number line on the 11" x 14" poster board, including some negative numbers. 
  2. Click here to go to the printer ready (8.5" x 11" or 8.5" x14" paper) diagrams in this document, for example problem #1, example problem #2, example problem #3, example problem #4, or example problem #5.   
  1. Copy the circle and triangles onto the cover stock paper. 
  2. Laminate the circles and triangles (Optional)
  3. Cut out the circle and triangles from the cover stock.
  4. Store each set in a quart bag. 
  5. Store a classroom set in a gallon bag.
