• Born, raised, and married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We have been Texans since 1973, when we moved here from Bloomington, Indiana.
• My wife, Sue, and I have three children: Matt, Dave, and Abe. Our sons are married to Robin, Vicki, and Margaret respectively. We have six grandchildren: Chelsea, Connor, Isaac, Reuben, Eli, and Ruth. Chelsea and Connor were created by Matt and Robin, while Isaac, Reuben, Eli, and Ruth were created by David and Vicki.
• My hobbies are gardening, woodworking, backpacking (Appalachian Trail is great), and reading.
