Fundamental group of hyperplane arangement

The fundamental group of an arrangement of lines in the projective
plane is a much studied object. In this talk I'll discuss the
presentation for it, and describe connections to various other
algebraic invariants (Holonomy Lie algebra, Cohomology ring). I'll
concentrate on providing motivating examples and explaining the open
conjectures in the area.
