Boundary actions
and cogrowth of subgroups in free groups

I will talk about ergodic properties of the action of an arbitrary
subgroup H of a finitely generated nonabelian free group F, of the
corresponding Schreier graph F/H, and of the horocycle flow on F
projected
on F/H. We shall consider several examples and see how the cogrowth of
H
is related with the ergodic properties such as ergodicity,
conservativity
and the Liouville property.
