Self-similarity of automata groups can be encoded in terms of a
bimodule over the group algebra. We will study the completions of the
group algebra which agree with the bimodule and the Cuntz-Pimsner
algebras of the obtained Hilbert bimodules. Relations with computations
of spectra will be also discussed.
