A geometric view on
equations over free groups

Equations in free groups are solved by Makanin's algorithm and solution
sets of equations are described in terms of Razborov fundamental
sequences. In both cases, a technique of so-called generalized
equations is essentially used. We provide a geometric way of
interpreting generalized equations and their solutions. This is a joint
work with A.Miasnikov.
